This project represented many challenges in transforming and modernizing an existing hospital campus with more than one million square feet of building area on an urban site adjacent to the University of Oregon. The master plan called for the demolition of four buildings and restoration of two buildings over 300,000 sf. The site was revitalized with a fresh appearance and a new front door identity. The seismic retrofit of the remaining hospital to meet current code along with the upgrade of all MEP infrastructure. In association with AD architects.
