This project was to replace an outdated MRI machine with a new 1.5 Tesla MRI machine in the Portland Veterans Affairs Hospital located in the west hills of Portland, Oregon. As part of the project, OHP+D updated the finishes and materials within the scanning room creating a calming environment. The control room is a common space with an adjacent MRI. Upgrades to the mechanical systems will allow for more efficient use of energy and cost savings for the VA.
