Using LEED brings instant recognition, increases space value, creates a healthier space, and lowers use of energy, water and other resources.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), is the most widely used third-party verification for sustainably designed spaces.

LEED v4.1 is the most inclusive and transparent platform to date. Leaders in the private sector as well as state and municipal governments are stepping up with initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, expanding activities that impact human health and well-being and devising effective solutions to life-threatening challenges around the U.S. and the globe.

Projects pursuing LEED certification earn points across several areas that address sustainability issues. Based on the number of points achieved, a project then receives one of four LEED rating levels: Certified, Silver, Gold or Platinum.
